I find that Melatonin is great for fixing errant sleep cycles. I used to do business travel to Tokyo from San Francisco now and then, and while SFO->NRT was always okay, after coming home my sleep cycle would be completely screwed up. Taking a melatonin a couple hours before bedtime would get me fixed right up.
